Information we collect

• Information you give usWhen you fill in the sign-up form on our homepage, you give us your name, your contact details and whatever else the form asks for. The form is run by Gymdesk, the service we use to run our program: what you enter goes straight to Gymdesk, where we see it. When you email, call or message us, we receive what you send.
• Information collected automaticallyCloudflare, which hosts the site, processes each request, including your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We keep no visit logs of our own. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load; Cloudflare states that it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for this. Your browser may also report to Cloudflare any network error it meets while loading the site.
• CookiesThe site sets no cookies of its own. Gymdesk and Google reCAPTCHA set theirs, as our Cookie Policy describes.

How we use your information

• To answer youTo reply to your sign-up or message, arrange your first visit, and keep you informed about classes.
• To run our programTo keep track of who has signed up and how to reach them, in Gymdesk.
• To keep the site working and safeTo deliver the site, protect the sign-up form from spam, and see in total how the site is used.

Who handles your information

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. These services handle it for us, each under its own privacy policy:

• GymdeskRuns our class schedule and sign-up form, and holds what you enter in them.
• Google reCAPTCHAChecks sign-ups for automated spam. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
• CloudflareHosts the site and provides its page-view analytics.
• PayPalDonations are made on PayPal’s website, not ours. PayPal’s privacy policy applies to what you give it.
• Legal and safetyWe may disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect the safety of the young people in our program, our staff or the public.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correction and deletionYou can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. To ask, email us at enrollment@fightingchancefoundation.com, call (310) 309-1143, or use the contact details on our homepage.
• Hearing from usIf you no longer want us to contact you, tell us and we will stop.
• Do Not TrackThe site does not track you across other websites, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Gymdesk and Google follow their own policies on it.

Keeping your information

We keep sign-up information in Gymdesk for as long as we need it to answer you and to run our program, and delete it when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections and with strict browser security settings, and the sign-up form sends what you enter straight to Gymdesk. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we work to protect yours.

Children’s privacy

Our program is for young people aged 12 to 18. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you: we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us at enrollment@fightingchancefoundation.com, call (310) 309-1143, or use the contact details on our homepage, and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the site or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
